When Chris heard our Woman’s Hour plea for the loan of a minibus, he decided to go one step further. He bought us one. And he asked us to name it B’s Bus after his wife who died earlier this year. Chris came to wave B’s Bus off on its first trip to Poland (with Suzanne and Barbara at the wheel). B always carried a piece of red ribbon when she travelled as a talisman to keep her safe. Chris tied that very piece of red ribbon to the driver’s mirror in B’s bus, to keep us, and our precious cargo, safe on our journey

We are going to Edinburgh. Thank you all very much for your work. Our attendants gave us a lot of emotions, they conquered us with their care, kindness, humor. Kind beautiful people are like Guardian Angels on our way. THANK YOU that we got to you, good luck to you, health and all the best!!!

Thank you to everyone who helped our daughter in organizing our move. At our age, we have never been abroad and we can’t even imagine how without knowledge of foreign languages, without your help, we could have made such a difficult journey from Kherson to Great Britain and also with our beloved cats. During this time, we met so many kind and sensitive people, regardless of country and nationality, and now we are sure that with such friends, Ukraine will definitely win.
